Hello Guys! Hope you are enjoying the autumnal weather and the changing of the leaves.. Are you saving for that special event, looking to buy your own home or maybe your just wanting to save a bit more money for a rainy day?
Money is a becoming more of a taboo subject in today’s society. Houses becoming more expensive, food shopping increasing and people’s spending habits are a lot more work hard / play hard than they were in the 1990’s.
I know too well that I spend more money eating out than I probably should. “I’ll just pop to prezzos for dinner” or “ Let’s go to costa for a hot chocolate” are just common phrases I use! So my goal for 2020 is to limit my unnecessary eating out spending! And for those of your thinking… no I don’t hate cooking, I actually love to cook but I find eating out more of a sociable thing to do.
Do you spent too much eating and drinking out?
There’s a number of ways we can save money, but looking at your utility bills is a great way to start. I’m talking the everyday bills which we just take for granted, such as your water bill, electric, council tax or phone bill. They all add up each month so it’s always good to check out if there’s a better deal out there for you! I know some set bills won’t change in cost like your council tax but there a number of electricity and gas companies who can ensure you get the best value for money.
Your phone.. may sound like an odd question, but what do you consider when paying a phone, or taking out a new contract?
There’s a variety of things to consider;
- How much can I afford to pay a month?
- Can I afford the upfront costs?
- What contract do I want?
- Shall I buy a swanky new phone?
Well look no further than a well known comparison site
