Hey guys! Hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny weather (if you live in the UK) it’s glorious. Today’s post is a little inspiration for you all – which includes a collaboration with Spice Way.
We are all busy with day to day life either working, studying or busy being a full time parent. So I am sure from time to time we all struggle with what to cook for mealtime! I know I do. A combination of being more creative and using new, flavoursome ingredients is something I am working towards.
Back in June I collaborated with the lovely Spice ways – Spice Way came from a trip to Israel where the founder Louise established a new way of transforming flavour and colour to simple dishes. The company sell a whole range of:
• Spice Blends
• Fast Gourmet
• Cook Clever
• Fr’cinni
• Granola
• Single Spices
I was kindly gifted a lovely selection of spices which I have now included within my cooking at home.
Ravishing Rosemary
I started off by using the Ravishing Rosemary, adding it to Roast Potatoes and then to a Roasted Veggie Tray. It gave the veggies an amazing flavour, and even made them look more healthy!
Using a couple of pinches from the pot, and I still have so much left! It will definitely last a while, but perfect for the Sunday roasts. I cannot wait to try a couple of sprinkles over a leg of lamb or a veggie joint in the winter.
Heavenly Herbs
Again, like with the Ravishing Rosemary on a separate occasion I added a sprinkle of the Heavenly Herbs to Roast potatoes for a Sunday lunch. They gave them a lovely herby taste which I really loved! The roasties were well received by everyone and I cannot wait to use the heavenly herbs on a roast tray or even a sprinkle on a salad or in a chicken pasta.
The pots are resealable which means they will last a while in your cupboard & you can just add a sprinkle to your cuisine as and when you like. Their website includes a FAB online shop which has a whole range of different herbs and spices for you all to try!
I hope this has given you a little inspiration on how to spice up your meal time! It’s a great way to add flavour and colour to those “duller” dinners!
Don’t forget to stay tuned for my next post… coming soon.
Love

I like the sound of these spices, the pots you got as well are such a fab size. I like the idea of adding the heavenly herbs to pasta, but I’d definitely do the same as you and add them to some roast potatoes, would make them delicious! All I can think about now is a nice Sunday roast hehe.

I love using herbs in dishes, they can really transform them can’t they? We’re having lemon and garlic potatoes today and I can’t wait. Will have to give your combos a go too!
Thanks for sharing.

I love a good spice mix – especially for a rub on chicken or to stir through a simple pasta. Thank you for sharing 🙂
I love the using spices and herbs to perk up a dish. Recently I’ve been roasting various veggies with Japanese 7 Spice – fiery and delicious! I enjoyed reading your post!
