How To Focus on Yourself
We all have busy lives; Working, studying or travelling. But it’s important to focus on you, what you want to achieve and how to enjoy your life!
I like most of you, properly have experienced that we can sometimes get ourselves into a little rut! We worry about things, or we care too much about what others think…. well its time to STOP it’s time to focus on yourself.
Take some time out
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life remember to take some time out. Whether that be; Reading some blog posts, watching your favourite movie or even spending an hour partaking in your favourite hobby! It’s always good to have that “me” time. This time will let you wind down and relax.
Make plans for your days off
I have weekends off work, so those two days are days in which I go out and see friends or do chores, bake, blog or go for walks! I love making sure I have plans for my days off. By making plans allows you to focus on yourself, switching off from work mode and enjoying your time off. Planning a holiday, making an itinerary is also something I love doing! There’s nothing worse than wasting away your day off by moping around the house.
Stop stressing about others
I know from experience that it’s easier said than done. But by turning your focus away from pleasing other people and focusing more on yourself will allow you to conquer your goals. We cannot and will not be able to please everyone in our lives, it’s not humanly possible. But the people who mean the most to us will support us no matter what choices we decide to make.
Make yourself feel better
By looking after yourself more will help enhance your feeling of worth and therefore a more positive mentality. Looks are important in todays society so maybe investing in a treatment will ensure you reach this goal.
Write a list
This may sound silly, but by making a list could really help you focus more on yourself and what you want out of life. It could be a list of things you really want to achieve in 2019 or maybe you are turning 30 next year so fancy writing a bucket list! It’s a great way to get you thinking about different activities and adventures you’d love to do in a timeframe! Maybe you’d just like to write a list of your monthly blog ideas, whatever your list may be – Make sure it’s achievable for you!
The tips I’ve mentioned above are a just a few simple ways to focus on yourself. I know too well that trying to juggle life, full time work and blogging is hard! But I’ve decided to make more of a balance – and you know what I am loving blogging and life right now (I’ll save my work worries for another post). It’s also very important to focus on your life, rather than worrying about what other people think. Remember not everyone will agree with what you do – But if it makes you happy who cares 🙂
