Farewell 2018

Firstly… hope you all had a wonderful Christmas spent with family and friends. I bet you all ate lots of yummy food and are currently in a good coma like myself!

What a year 2018 has been! I will give you all a lovely overview of my year to date… well with only one full day left I think 2018 is pretty much over 🙁 Farewell 2018!

• January

I properly started looking into starting a blog with lots of umming and arrrring!! I also handed in my first module assignment for my CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing.

It was my lovely mummas birthday and a close friends as well. I headed to London to celebrate Laura’s birthday and had a lovely meal in the New Forest for Mummas Birthday.

I STARTED MY BLOG – Lifeofemmax was created! I spent a LOT of time deliberating over it but finally plucked up the courage and went for it.

I continued to get into my blog and joined the wonderful SotonBloggers group (which I was so grateful to become a part of)

I took a trip to London to visit a uni friend. We visit Hyde park, went to The National History Museum and had lots of cocktails.

April also allowed me to complete my second assignment for my Marketing Diploma.

May was full of sunshine, afternoons in pub gardens and trips to the beach.

I also attended Common People in Southampton and have a FAB time seeing Lily Allen.

June was a month of birthdays. A couple close friends are June babies so I went to a couple of birthday events. I also went to see Ed Sheeran in WEMBLEY… he was AMAZING!

we also had our summer party at work and I have never laughed so much in a short space of time 🙂

I had a busy July at work, my manager was off for a couple of weeks so I didn’t manage to blog as much! But I enjoyed my weekends trips to the beach with Joe, seeing friends and generally enjoying the weather.

I went up to East Anglia to see university friends and had a great time seeing everyone. I dedicate time with everyone as I hadn’t seen people properly for a year! Life well and truly gets in the way sometimes.

I also managed to tag along a weekend in Looe, Cornwall and had a lovely time.

• September

September flew by before I knew it. It was the month we went to the bank and mortgages and properly started looking at rightmove properties… hopefully 2019 is the year we find our home.

The month of birthdays, Halloween celebrations and house party! I went up to Nottingham to my best friends house party… drinking games and lots of food it was a perfect weekend away.

I visited the beautiful Beaulieu Christmas Lights and had a fab time! I visited Winchester and Bournemouth and started my Christmas shopping!

Finally… December

Probably the busiest month in the calendar, trying to see everyone before Christmas. I went to Bath, Winchester and London! Attended a lovely blogger event with Marks and Spencer & SotonBloggers.

I had my Christmas work party and attended Christmas markets.

There we go… my nearly full year of blogging has come to an end! Farewell 2018 you’ve been amazing. Also I have been amazed by all your wonderful support throughout my first year of blogging and I look forward to seeing all your achievements in 2019!

Stay tuned to see my next post all about my 2019 life and blogging goals. Farewell 2018…

I love the summary that you’ve made of 2018. Wow, your blog is less than a year old and you’ve done so much! Pretty cool that you got to travel to different places. December tends to be the best month, at least for good reasons often times. Glad you enjoyed this year!
