Cracking Christmas Tag Blogmas #8

Hello…. welcome to day 8 of my blogmas series. Today is all about the Cracking Christmas tag that the lovely Becca has set up and kindly tagged me in. Thank you Becca!! I am pretty much ready for christmas… well I like to think so anyway. ALL of the presents are brought [organised me] I have the wrapping paper, tags and bows/ribbon all to match. And I have brought some lovely cards to write [I was going to make my own but exam revision got in the way. BOOOO.

Below you will find my answers to the 10 questions within the Cracking Christmas Tag:

– Weirdest family Christmas tradition?

We don’t really have a weird christmas tradition, however a board game is a must at christmas in the family household. And everyone gets very competitive….

– It’s Christmas Eve, what are you doing?

I tend to spend christmas eve making some festive snacks, such as christmas cookies or mince pies. Usually get the vegetables prepped for christmas lunch. I then head to the pub late afternoon/evening and spend time with school friends… a big old catch up with everyone who comes home. It’s a merry occassion.

– Top 3 Christmas dinner components?

Yummy Grazy

Yorkshire Puds

Pigs in blankets

– When do you decorate your house? November, the beginning of December, the week of Christmas?

Normally the 2nd weekend in December [depending how it falls] but I am not one of those people who put their decs up in mid November. Everyone is different and I would never ever judge anyone who does though.

– Loved and loathed Christmas songs?

I love Band Aid ‘Do they know it’s christmas time’ it’s very upbeat and really gets me in the christmas mood. One song I loath over is ‘The Thelve Days of Christmas’ it grinds on me… not sure why!

– One big present or lots of little things to open?

I am a big lover of lots of little things to open. I’d much rather open things like makeup, jewellery over a big present like a laptop. I’d much rather buy the bigger items myself in the year.

– What is your favourite Christmas decoration? (Include a photo if you have one)

My favourite christmas decoration is a handmade wreath which comprises of dried fruits and christmas smells!

– Do you like to have a themed tree or one with a bit of everything?

It has to be themed. Gold, Red and Green… Christmas colours, right? Everyone is different and prefers different coloured trees and decorations. However I am very ‘boring’ and traditional in this sense. Simplistic I’d call it.

– Christmas pudding: yay or nay?

I am not a fan of christmas pudding. Give me a chocolate yulelog, chocolate pud or even cheesecake anyday though!

– What’s at the top of your Christmas wishlist this year?

I haven’t asked for much for christmas this year. Moving into my own place next year, all going well! So i’d much rather have vouchers to spend on the house/furntiure etc. Sounds boring I know!!

I hope you enjoyed reading my answers to the FAB Cracking Christmas Tag.

This is a great Christmas tag! I can’t stand Christmas pudding either! I much prefer something with chocolate or even an apple crumble with custard! A handmade wreath with dried fruit and Christmas smells sounds so nice – I might attempt to make one this year, or buy one ❤

I love a Christmas Tag post! I’m from the US and we don’t do pigs in a blanket as a holiday food BUT I wish we did! They are so yummy!

We usually decorate here in the second week of December (sometimes it’s ended up being the first!) The wreath looks lovely. x

This is such a fab post! The questions are great and it seems like so much fun! That’s so exciting that you’ll be getting your own place, vouchers for home wares would be the perfect gift for you! I’d love to see any homeware hauls in the future! Thank you for tagging me, I’m excited to write this! Xx
