MATEUS ROSÉ REVIVES ITS MUSICAL HERITAGE AT FEEL GOOD FESTIVAL OF FOOD AND MUSIC, THE BIG FEASTIVAL
Mateus Rosé
I was lucky enough to be sent a gorgeous box in the post from the lovely people at Mateus Rosé. I was only expecting one bottle of their tasteful Rosé but I received this gift set.

The giftset contained *:
2x Mateus Rosé bottles (75 cl)
2x Wine Flutes
Amazed by the thoughtfulness of Mateus for sending out a full ‘The Orginal’ gift set. I popped a bottle in the fridge (I prefer my Rosé chilled) but that’s just my preference. The Mateus Rosé ‘The Original’ is a beautiful aesthetic which is both fresh and fruity with a slightly fizzy taste that leaves the palette wanting more!
The iconic wine brand, Mateus Rosé, will celebrate both it’s Portuguese roots and also it’s wonderful musical heritage this summer, over three days of Mateus Rosé picnics at The Big Feastival.
The Big Feastival
Mateus Acoustic Picnic Stage will be live at ‘The Big Feastival 24th -26th August [Bank Holiday Weekend] at Alex James’ Farm, Kingham Oxfordshire.
- A Mateus Acoustic Picnic – Serving the perfect Rosé wine for winding down on longsummer days, plus Iberian food favourites and Portuguese Pesticos throughout the weekend: Bifanas (posh bacon sarnies), Padron peppers, Iberian Cheese board, Pintox cones, marinated peppers, olives and Portuguese custard tarts. Mateus Acoustic Picnic will be open 11am to 8pm Friday to Sunday.
- The Mateus Rosé was famously loved by the rock legend: Jimi Hendrix in his 60’s heyday, so it seems very fitting to bring Mateus and music together again fifty years later.

If you are in the area or looking for somethng fun to do Bank Holiday weekend, why not head down and check out all the yummy foods, drinks and live music throughout the whole weekend.
I cannot wait to open my 2nd bottle of Mateus Rosé just need to sun back out so I can enjoy it with a scrummy BBQ, cause come on who doesn’t LOVE a BBQ?!
Why not try the Reisling Gums to compliment your wine?
Love
Emma

Who does not like some rosé?! 😉 Loving the flutes. Can you imagine if they had your blog name engraved on them?! Sounds like the perfect summer wine!
They are pretty flutes, aren’t they! That is such a FAB idea Corinne – maybe a company will start doing blog name flutes.

The wine flutes look great. It’s lovely that they sent you the whole gift set! I’m not into wine too much myself, but my mum definitely loves some rosé! Haha.

What a gorgeous bottle! It’s all about the packaging, if I see a beautiful bottle in the store I feel more willing to purchase for sure. I prefer rose chilled too, brings out the aroma!
I love the bottle and I am a sucker for pretty packaging! Chilled Rose is the BEST 🙂

Rose wine is the BEST! Pretty cool that you were gifted this! I like that there’s history behind the brand. Having chilled wine on a summer day sounds GREAT! Pair it with some cheese and meat – even better XD. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I reviewed some recently too! It was such a lovely – and generous – gift set and you’re right, definitely best served chilled and an excellent accompaniment to a BBQ! x
It’s such a lovely gift set, isn’t it! Did you enjoy the wine? I enjoyed a bottle at BBQ – definitely on the BBQ shopping list again.

Summer is not complete without a chilled rosé! I love especially fruity and fresh rosés and this one looks like it has a deeper color than most which appeals to me. I will look for it this weekend! Thanks!
