I was approached by bakerdays to review one of their personalised Letter Box Cake *. We all love a bit of cake and with my big brothers birthday on the 14th, I took them up on their offer of a personalised cake for him.

The whole process was very easy, I was in email contact with a lovely lady called Macy who was very helpful and allowed me to choose my design, personalisation and cake flavour. I chose the design from the options outlined online and decided on my personalised message…such an easy process!

The Letter Box cake was excellently packaged in a brown box which is perfect ‘letter box size fit’ and enclosed was a little card “Just For You” along with the lovely cake tin. It arrived on Friday 13th (the day before my brothers birthday, as agreed).

I was very excited to open the tin and to see the design and writing – so that’s what I did! I’m rubbish as waiting… like a little kid at Christmas. The design looked very professional and the writing was perfect with my chosen personalised message 🙂

I chose the chocolate chip cake, cos who doesn’t like chocolate on their birthday?!

Are you a chocolate lover?

WOW The chocolate chip cake was amazing.. one of the best cakes I’ve had. The smell of the rich chocolate aroma along with moist texture really hit the taste buds. The flavouring wasn’t too rich, which made it a delight to eat and not too sickly like other chocolate cakes. The icing was really made and completement the chocolate perfectly.

It was well received with my brother and everyone who tried a piece really enjoyed it.

The cake cuts perfectly into 4 pieces (but that all depends on how much you want to eat and how many people you are catering for). I’d definitely recommend the bakerdays Letterbox Cake – whilst if you fancy 15% off your bakerdays order pop in my code LIFEOFEMMAX15

Love the idea of a cake through the letter box, so handy if you’re not at home during postage hours. I have one for my sisters birthday at the end of the month, can’t wait for a bit of chocolate cake <3
