Makeup Favourites For February

How is it February already?! January flew by…

I thought I’d put together a little blog regarding my makeup favourites for the month of LOVE Being surrounded by lovey dovey cards and present ideas isn’t really my cup of tea.. BUT each to their own on the commercial marketing of such days like Valentines Day.

My February Makeup Favourites

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

I wear Estee Lauder most days, without fail. I have fairly oily skin naturally and the foundation itself helps and stays on throughout the whole day.. Which saves time when I am out and about I no longer need to worry about if I need to reapply more foundation. I have quite sensitive skin, but since using Estee Lauder I have had limited breakouts and skin irritation. So for now I am sticking with Estee Lauder.

I am looking for recommendations.. Does anyone use the Estee Lauder primers? If so, which one do you use: The Illuminator/The Mattifier or The Smoother? Would love to here your thoughts if you currently or have previously used any of them.

Revolution Eye Shadow Palette

I am in love with this eye shadow palette I’m the type of girl who loves pinks and gold shadow.. nothing to outrageous just something a bit girlie ? I tend to contour my eyeshadow so having colours in different shades really work well for me. This palette was £4 from Superdrug, and I have the urge to buy another incase they sell out!!

Does anyone else do that? I’m not a hoarder but I would hate to run out!

Revolution Strobe Highlighter

Normally I opt for a blusher, but fancied a change and I loved the colour.. The strobe highlighter has become one of my faves!! The colour compliments my cheeks really well and looks fab to “highlight” my cheek bones.

Why not check it out if you’ve never used it before 🙂

MAC Velvet Teddy

After reading many blogs after this particular MAC lipstick I took the plunge myself… what can I say, it was 110% worth it! I am in love with the colour, I love MAC products anyway but this has topped my fave MAC product at the moment. The pinky nude shadow allows a more subtle look, but also stands out throughout the day to day working office life.

Do you have a favourite makeup favourite? I’d love to hear what you couldn’t live without ?

Nice favorites! I really want to try the Makeup Revolution highlighters, they look so pretty and do not break the bank.

I love how you listed all of your makeup favorites in this post. I’ve definitely been looking in to trying some new brands for my makeup. What’s your favorite mascara to use for more volume?

I’m glad you enjoyed reading about my makeup favourites 🙂 I don’t wear mascara too often as I have sensitive eyes – but I wear MAC False Lashes Mascara, Little MAC. It’s really good and doesn’t irritate my eyes too much x
